TRX Single leg squat

This is an effective exercise to work your legs muscles. Hold the TRX handles firmly with both hands and position your right foot on the floor and raise the left foot out in front of you.

Push back your hip and bring your body into a squat position with your right foot on the floor and hold for a few seconds. Then push your body with your right foot up and return to the starting position while holding tight onto the strap, using it for as much balance and support as needed.

Perform a minimum of 10 – 20 reps and then repeat the workout with your left foot.

3 TRX Leg Exercises – TRX Squats, One Leg Squat and Jump Squats

TRX Squats are ideal way how to exercise leg muscles. TRX Squats will exercise all major muscle groups with an emphasis on quadriceps, hamstrings, gluteal muscles, calves, abdomen and lower back.

Splinters start

The splinters start is an effective TRX exercise to work your lower body and build strength. To perform this exercise, face away from the pivot point and hold the strap firmly in each hand. Bring the TRX straps under your arms and move forward until they are tightly stretched.

Move your right foot to the front in a lunge-like stance and make sure your heel is flat to the ground. Bend your torso slightly to the front while maintaining a flat back. Push and explode forward with your right foot. Allow the strap to pull you back to your starting position.

Perform a minimum of 10 – 20 reps and then repeat with the other foot.

Chest press

This exercise mimics the push ups to work the arms, shoulder and the core muscle. To perform, face away from the pivot point and hold the strap firmly in each hand.

Move your feet back, extend your arms fully and bring your body into a push-up stance. Press your body forward to perform push ups, and then press your hands into the straps to bring your body to the starting position and repeat.

The Bicep curl

This exercise does not only engage the bicep but also works the hips and the midsection. To perform this exercise, bring your foot together and stand straight while facing the pivot point.

Hold the strap firmly in both hands and twist your hand so that it faces you. Pull yourself up by moving your hands towards your head to perform the bicep curl.

Lower your body to gradually return to the starting position and then repeat the exercise (for about 10 – 20 times).

Suspended Lunge

This exercise works the core and the leg muscle and helps to improve stability, balance, and coordination. To perform, put your right foot into the strap, face the opposite direction of the pivot point and secure your left foot on the ground.

Push your right foot slowly near the pivot point with your chest up tall. Lower your body and bring it into a lunge stance by bending your left knee. Return to normal by pushing through your left leg.

Do a minimum of 10 – 20 reps and then repeat with your left foot.
